
Geoff Bodine was born in Chemung, NY, on April 18, 1949 and now makes his home in Cornelius, NC.

Geoff's racing career started at the tender age of five in the micro- midget division, which ran at his fathers' Chemung Speedrome. After racing dirt and asphalt modifieds in the Northeast throughout the 1970s, he turned his racing attention to the NASCAR Grand National Division. His first full NASCAR Nextel Cup season was 1982.
